Compliance Coordinator

About the role:
As a Compliance Coordinator at Billogram, you’ll play a crucial role in developing, administrating and coordinating compliance processes across the organization. While the primary focus will be AML and CFT, your work will also encompass broader compliance areas like GDPR, DORA, outsourcing, vendor management, risk management, and fostering collaboration across teams. Acting as the central hub for compliance initiatives, this role blends operational support, project coordination and strategy to ensure our processes run efficiently and align with regulatory requirements.
Primary responsibilities:
- Coordinate compliance initiatives, ensuring alignment with regulations and organizational objectives (e.g. AML/CFT, GDPR, DORA, risk assessments).
- Lead compliance projects by setting clear goals, timelines, and facilitating collaboration across departments.
- Support the development and implementation of AML/CFT processes in collaboration with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Analyze and address concerns from monitoring processes to ensure timely and compliant resolution.
- Manage compliance-related systems like CM1, ensuring they meet operational and regulatory needs.
- Act as the central communicator between 1st and 2nd line functions to ensure alignment in compliance activities.
- Organize training initiatives to raise awareness of compliance policies, including AML/CFT and GDPR.
- Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external reviews.

Skills & traits which will help you succeed in this role:
- Hands-on experience with KYC and AML processes, including identifying risks, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with complex regulatory requirements.
- Previous exposure to compliance and regulatory frameworks, with a proven ability to navigate and apply them effectively.
- Proficiency in managing or supporting compliance-related projects, including coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong interest in promoting compliance awareness throughout the organization.
- Knowledge of the AML system CM1 (Softronic) is considered a plus.
- A university degree within law or a related field is a plus.
- Fluency in both written and spoken Swedish and English is a requirement.
