UX Lead

About the role:
As UX Lead at Billogram, you will be the key driver in defining and developing our entire UX capability. Your mission is to move beyond executing design requests to becoming a strategic partner who ensures user insights and data directly drive our product roadmap.
This is a high-impact role where you take full ownership of the UX vision at Billogram. You will be the driving force behind all UX design, simultaneously setting the strategy, principles, and key metrics and being hands-on to deliver immediate value to the Product Teams. Working closely with Product Managers and developers, you will ensure a cohesive, high-quality experience across the entire customer journey.
Primary Responsibilities:
Own & Define UX Strategy: Define Billogram’s UX Design principles and strategy, establish key metrics for UX impact, and set the ways of working to fully integrate UX into the product development lifecycle.
Drive End-to-End Execution: Lead the full design process from discovery to delivery. This includes hands-on work in user research, data analysis, high-fidelity prototyping (UI), and writing in-product copy.
Improvement & Innovation: Actively seek opportunities to improve and change processes, leverage new technologies like AI to enhance ways of working, and ensure the function is constantly learning and evolving.
Stakeholder & Change Advocacy: Build strong relationships and actively champion the UX vision, communicating insights to Product Managers, developers, and other stakeholders to foster organizational alignment.
Elevate Product Experience: Act as the key player in rolling out important product functionality and ensuring a cohesive, delightful experience across all customer journeys.
Systems & Automation: Develop the strategy for our design system and internal automation to ensure a highly efficient workflow. This includes optimizing how we build flows and automating processes for in-product copy and translations, ensuring a cohesive and high-quality experience.

You are a pragmatic, positive, and naturally curious individual who takes full responsibility for your work. You have no prestige when it comes to hands-on work and are motivated by problem-solving. You are deeply customer-focused, constantly striving to achieve that delightful "wow" experience for our users. You are also confident but remain humble, enabling you to effectively manage stakeholders and drive successful collaboration across the organization. Finally, you have strong communication skills which you leverage to champion the UX vision and effectively drive organizational alignment.
What will help you succeed:
Several years of practical experience across the full UX spectrum: research, user testing, high-fidelity prototyping (UI), and writing.
A strong, hands-on ability to build advanced, interactive prototypes using code or technical frameworks to test and validate experiences, while mastering modern design tools (for example Figma).
Proven experience leveraging AI/ML technologies not only in the product design itself, but also to significantly enhance your own design workflow and processes.
Proven ability to define a UX Design Strategy and establish KPIs to measure the business impact of UX work.
Proven experience in driving organizational or process change is beneficial.
Experience from the Fintech sector or working with complex payment/billing products is a plus.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required. Fluency in Swedish is a plus.
